Second Harvest Ministry
What we do
Second Harvest is a non-profit organization in South Central Wisconsin that provides low-cost food to food pantries and other organizations serving low-income adults, children and elderly populations.
Our Porchlight Ministry (another ministry team at Unity), prepares and serves meals to homeless men at Grace Episcopal Church in Madison. The Porchlight team purchases most of the food it serves from Second Harvest. Some members are certified by Second Harvest as food purchasers.
How you can help
Put pocket change in our donation canisters (located in the foyer and on the lower level). Every dollar donated provides three meals! If everyone throws in some pocket change every week when they are at church, it would make a huge difference to those in hunger! Thank you for your support!
