Prayer Chaplain 2018 Orientation: Saturday Nov 4; 1pm in Lower Level

Your Unity of Madison Prayer Chaplain Team is extending an invitation to all: consider joining us!  This orientation session will give you information about what is involved in the Sacred Service that is being a Unity Prayer Chaplain, as well as the 2018 Training Schedule.

Prayer Chaplain 2018 Orientation
Saturday, November 4th
1 - 2:30pm; Lower Level

Tech Services Training: Weds Oct 18 - or - Thurs Oct 26

Want to support Unity of Madison via our Technical Services team but aren't sure what is involved and how it all works?  This training is for you!

We're providing two sessions - attend either one - that cover the basics of assisting a Sunday service and how the 3 different aspects work together: Powerpoint, audio and video/live-stream.  You will have the opportunity to practice any of the aspects covered.

Next H.U.G. Meeting: Sunday, October 29 after 2nd service

H.U.G. is an acronym for Helping Unity Grow, and many Unity churches host H.U.G. meetings instead of Town Halls.  These regularly scheduled events are similar to a Town Hall meeting in that they are designed to share information from the board to the congregation and to allow for a question and answer period. They are just a lot less formal – AND they include time for food and fellowship.

Satsang at Unity Saturday, December 02, noon - 4pm, LL

Madison Satsang: a gathering of like-minded beings following Amma's vision of Sacred Service, Love and Compassion.

Satsang is a word which comes from sanskrit, meaning "to associate with true people", to be in the company of true people - sitting with a sat guru, or in a group meeting seeking that association. Inner satsang is to raise the consciousness to a level of realization that soul (atma) and Lord (Parmatma) are One.

Prayer Vigil in our Sanctuary during World Day of Prayer, Sept 14

All are invited to join us for our Madison prayer vigil during Unity Worldwide Ministries' 24-hour World Day of Prayer.

At Unity of Madison we celebrate Unity World Day of Prayer with a 12-hour vigil, 7am to 7pm on Thursday, Sept 14.  That means that someone will be in our Sanctuary, holding space and praying during that time.

At 7am we will open the vigil with some music and opening prayers.
