Join Jill and Dale Wilkis and Bob Bennicoff for a walk in Goose Pond’s Brown Prairie for the peak bloom of the Pale Purple Cornflowers on June 28th at 1pm. Please note the change in time from 2pm to 1pm. The Purple Cornflowers are at peak bloom from mid to late June, but there are many other blooms as well. The trail has wide, mowed paths with gentle short hills. There is not a lot of shade, so they recommend hats or sun umbrellas as well as plenty of water and sunscreen. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer and you can contact Bob Bennicoff through the office for more information.
