During the Sunday Service
As a new school year begins, we invite students (all grades and ages), teachers, professors, school and university staff, and all who support the work of education to receive a special blessing during our Sunday service on August 23rd.
Whether you are entering a classroom, teaching a course, preparing meals, maintaining buildings, working in an office, driving a bus, supporting students, or beginning a new season of learning, we honor the important part you play in creating places where minds and hearts can grow.
Students of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks for a special backpack blessing as we surround them with love, wisdom, courage, curiosity, and joy for the year ahead.
Join us as we bless everyone beginning a new academic year and affirm that wherever we learn, teach, serve, and grow, the presence of God goes with us and before us in all that we do!
