Please join us after the service on Sunday, May 17th to learn more about the loving and important work being done to help refugees in our local community. Following a short break after the service, a presentation will be given by Jason Mack, the Executive Director of a local nonprofit organization called Open Doors for Refugees (ODFR). Open Doors for Refugees is a volunteer-driven organization founded in 2016 and based in Madison, Wisconsin, whose mission is to help refugees make a home in the Madison area. They work closely with partner organizations to provide furniture, winter clothing, transportation, language training, workforce development, childcare, and other support services to refugees and other immigrants in the Madison community.
