Join Reverend Richard Bunch, musician Pete Calgaro and Shamanic Practitioner Jessica Riphenburg for this very special intergenerational Sunday service at Unity of Madison.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Richard will start us off with an inspirational reading that focuses on Spring through the Unity lens. If you’ve not heard Richard speak, you’re in for a treat, as he has a way of bringing joy, humor and relatability to all of his services. He will be gracing us with his presence via Zoom, as he is now back home in Virginia.
Jessica will lead us in opening sacred space before we move into the ceremony, where we will experience a beautiful guided meditation, and literally plant our seeds of intention for the months to come.
Pete will weave his magic into the service with music to seal the joyful energy of the ceremony.
Afterwards coffee and treats will be served in Unity’s lower level “Namaste Cafe” for those wishing to hang out and connect.
If kids would like a special job during the service, meet Jessica in the sanctuary by 9:45 to receive instructions.
FREE- Love offerings welcome, but not necessary
To respect the sacred container of this work, please refrain from alcohol & recreational drugs the day of the event, and ideally for 24 hours prior, and 24 hours after as well
WHAT IS UNITY OF MADISON?
Unity of Madison is a spiritual center that teaches "direct experience" with Spirit vs. using an intermediary like religious denominations do. It is Madison’s local branch of Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute.
Unity’s teachings offer spiritual guidance for people of any religion or spiritual faith in a way that is complementary. Unity is not a religion, but a spiritual framework for living your best life.
Unity encourages us to explore and apply Unity teachings based on your own spiritual understanding, and recognizes these five basic principles:
God is the source and creator of everything - all good, everywhere present. This is the only Presence and Power expressing as the Universe and as my life.
Human beings are expressions of God. Spirituality is our true nature.
Our thoughts and feelings have the power to create our experience of life.
Prayer and meditation keep us connected to Source energy.
It's not enough to know spiritual principles; we must live the truth we know.
